Fall Sunrises

There’s a special period of time when the sunrises at home imbue our mornings with a glorious glow. In fall, the sun has slid from its more northerly summer position to the east, lining up perfectly with our picture windows. For about six weeks before the sun moves out of view, we bask in the display every clear morning we get. Here are a few glimpses of the beauty, from September 27th to November 1st. Now the sun has swung to the south, behind the mountain to the right in the slides, meaning we are on to the start of winter. A slight dusting of snow and noticeably colder temperatures keep us in tune with the turn of the seasons. Time to get out the candles!
