Sunrise Serenity

March has been pretty delightfully calm and the sun has moved around the mountains to the north and east, so that we have gorgeous sunrises again. We can’t think of a better way to wake up than to this view out our front windows. Up here it’s been such a mild winter and start to spring that things are budding and we even have plum and pear blossoms in our greenhouse! We’re hoping for them to make it through spring without too much cold to interfere with their growth, but as with all things, we will just have to wait and see what nature does. In the meantime, we are soaking up the beauty as much as we can, before heading out and south for our halibut deliveries (it’s not too late to place an order!) and social visits. We’re looking forward to that too - and the change of pace to come makes us extra conscious of enjoying these moments before we go.
